What is the scientific evidence for the theory of tectonic plates

Tectonic plates theory suggests land masses move around; albeit very slowly.

one evidence is that similar fossil remains were found in the Antarctic, West Africa and South America. That means some time in the past, these land masses were together then drifted apart.

It just all depends on where you live at the moment
