Tim sees winter weather as an opportunity to earn some extra cash. He plans to offer a snow-removal service and hopes to find plenty of customers in the small town where he lives. As a producer, Tim needs to decide what to charge and how many driveways he can offer to clear. He believes that he can charge $10, $20, $30, $40 and even $50 per job. If he manages his time efficiently, he can provide this service for five to twenty-five customers each day. Use this information to complete Questions 11 and 12. 11) Create a supply schedule to help Tim think like an economist. Show the price and quantity supplied for his snow-removal business. Use the supply schedule pictured in the unit as an example. Your supply schedule must be in the form of a table and must include price and quantity supplied. You can create a table using computer software, such as Microsoft Word. If software is not available, you can draw a table on a sheet of paper. In the table, fill in the appropriate information. When you have completed your supply schedule, type the word COMPLETE in the answer box, and send your work to your teacher as an attachment. If you draw your supply schedule on paper with a pen or a pencil, take a photo of it, and send this image to your teacher in an attachment. Remember—your instructor must be able to open your attachment and to view your work.

12) Using the information related to Tim’s business, create a supply curve. Follow the example in the unit of the supply curve created to represent the price and quantity supplied for coffee. You can make a supply curve by using computer software, such as Microsoft Word. If software is not available, you can draw a supply curve on a sheet of paper. Include a vertical axis with prices and a horizontal axis with the quantities supplied. Then, plot and connect the points. When you have completed your supply curve, type the word COMPLETE in the answer box, and send your work to your teacher as an attachment. If you draw your supply curve on paper with a pen or a pencil, take a photo of it, and send this image to your teacher in an attachment. Remember—your instructor must be able to open your attachment and to view your work.
