There are five regions that have been the result of divisions  in Asia done by historians and geographers. These regions are Central Asia, East Asia, South Asia, Southeast Asia, and Western Asia. All these regions have different geographical area, climate and history. Asia is the largest continent in the world so that's why it is divided into several regions in order to make study easier.
