Europe is facing twin questions - one about migration and immigration and the other about a shrinking native population. Taken together these issues have the potential to reshape this region in fundamental ways. Please read the article titled "Here's Why Europe Really Needs More Immigrants" and watch the video below. You should also review Migrant crisis_ Migration to Europe explained in seven charts. Once you have done this, please complete these two tasks below: Answer the following question in with a thoughtful and meaningful response. Whether acting in self interest or out of a desire to help their fellow man, countries often intervene to help or prevent migrants - however this comes at a cost. Please make an argument for either the threat immigration poses and why it should be limited or explain the EU’s need for immigrants and why immigration should be allowed, if not encouraged? (A good answer will include examples or facts to back up and illustrate your position. It needs to be more that just your opinion stated.)
