How do you use geography?

Many people would use it without even knowing! For example:

- GPS

- Maps

- Weather Forecast

What regions would you create based on your own location?

This will vary since this will be about your location.

Consider how even if a person isn't a geographer would still use the tools of geography.

A person would use these tools, to find a location, or to deliver something to that location, such as a(n) online delivery website, where you would put your address in and they would send that item to you, or having to look at the weather forecast. In order to know what is going on, you would like to see what direction the wind and storms would go, so you would open up a map to see its features and directions.

Take this picture for an example:

Humid continental climate is found in the interior of continents between the 30 and 60 degrees latitude, but usually above the 40 degree line.   40 degrees north of the equator means less direct sunlight and therefore less warmth.   this climate is mainly found in the northern hemisphere since there are no major landmasses in the southern hemisphere.  if you live in northern indiana, you know all about humid continental because that is the climate type you have!
