Floods happen on flood the flat meadows adjacent to a stream channel.
people like to build on flood plains, because the land is flat and located conveniently close to water.
unfortunately, there are obvious consequences to building on a floodplain over time.
is this a natural disaster, or a human error? we need to learn much about flood plains and respect them! : -)
