3. a radiation law (wien's law) tells us how the wave- length at which a star is radiating most of its energy is related to the temperature of the star. simply stated it tells us that hotter stars radiate most of their energy at shorter wavelengths. another law (stefan's law) tells us that at corresponding wavelengths, hotter stars emit more total energy than cooler stars. with these basic ideas in mind, would a hot star or a cool star have a more prominent spectrum in the ultraviolet region? explain.
