There was a devastating drought in Kenya and the Eastern Africa in 2005. This resulted in migrating people to the regions around Egypt.There was a "severe food crisis" that affected around 10 million people. The situation throws blame on the climate changes and global warming, geopolitical issues. Other issues like over population, poor soil quality, land encroachment, deforestation also contribute to the severe drought condition. All of these are the repercussions of the human activities.
