The Panama channel is an artificial channel that is built to connect the Atlantic and the pacific ocean waters. It is about 82 km long and is made along the isthmus of Panama,  a boat of a maximum of 366 meters can cross this channel. This channel was originally constructed in 1977. and it was expanded on june 26, 2016. And it's directed form the northwest to southeast. The channel consists of the artificial lakes and has a toll road that is used to by a set of Panama canal authority, based on the vessel type and the type of the cargo. Many suggest that the Panama channel is also an alternative route from Asia to the U.S eastern coast.
