When french people count on their fingers, they start with their thumb for number one, index for two, middle finger for three, ring finger for four and pinky for five. the thumb is always used to show one, index for two americans use their index to start finger-counting or sometimes their pinky. how do you count on your fingers? explain how different finger-counting is in your own country compared to france. does one way make more sense than another? use at least 4 sentences to explain the difference, 2 in english, 2 in french.

Could someone who speaks french check over some french sentences i wrote? my work: mon village est prÚs d'un lac, alors il fait froid et venteux. je n'aime pas le froid ou le vent. mon temps préféré est quand il y a du soleil avec une brise. j'aime ce temps parce que la brise ne fait pas le du soleil temps aussi chaud et le soleil ne fait pas la brise aussi froid. *by the french word 'temps' i mean weather.* i am describing my favortite type of weather and why i like it. : )
