1) is it correct to say: le riz et le poisson (une entrée du riz et le poisson avec du sel) if i want to say 'rice and fish (an appetizer of rice and fish with salt)'? what about this:

- le riz ; le grain
- le poisson ; la viande
- le sel
meaning:
rice; grain
fish; meat
salt

i thought it made sense because le+de=du since riz is masculine (le) and de+le=du for sel since sel is masuline (le).
