during a revolution many people develop a different view. the political, economic policies or social inequalities of government leads to conflict with subjects. these views are expressed and spread by writers and philosophers who share them with the rest of the public through literature. before these papers no one had criticized the government and their policies so openly. these clear arguments set forth a bold movement to organize and overthrow their oppressive government.
now the people begin to unite and mass protest for a change in power. the government is overthrown and replaced with a new governmental system. this governments would change their relationship it had with the people and role it has in society. it would affect their daily lives by making laws and managing the country’s money. sometimes the change in power can also affect religion. it was during the french revolution when much of the wealth and power held by the catholic church was taken away.
during a revolution the social structure can also be dramatically changed. for example, the french revolution ended the social system of feudalism that had existed since the middle ages. this social structure that had once divided society into three estates and given the elite so many unjust privileges was now gone. in a revolution different views and changes in power and social structure develop. all these factors allow revolutions to change society.
