United states is called a "melting pot." but some people are saying that it is a "mosaic of cultures" rather than a "melting pot." explain the difference between the two terms then offer your opinion: which do you think it is and why? i need it asap

Well, when you think of a melting pot you think of something gathered together of all kinds of backgrounds an example of this is  america. melting pot is when different types of people blend together while a mosaic is when ethnicity,  languages, and cultures co-exist in a society. an example of mosaic is canada, since it's how their society is formed opposite of melting pot or assimilation. hence the word is french, canadians speak english and french widely. 

is basically a good source of getting and others by what you know for example if someone asked a question and you know the answer you could answer it and get some points or if you need on a question you could make a post about it and wait till someone answers it or just look up the question and see if someone else has asked about it
