The Leatherstocking Tales is a series of five novels written by James Fenimore Cooper, an American writer that lived during the first half of the nineteenth century. Besides The Last of the Mohicans, The Pathfinder and The Deerslayer, there are two more novels that are part of this series: The Pioneers and The Prairie.
