As Europe's population grew, farmers looked for better and more efficient tools to use to process products faster and ship them quicker. When new technologies did come out, farmers didn't want to waste money on tenants to farm so they kicked them off and most came to America for a better life. In the earlier 1700s, things like interchangeable parts were invented. A person by the name of Samuel Slater went to Great Britain and memorized the textile mills, what they looked like and how they functioned, they had over there and brought the ideas back to America.
