To whom could montresor be talking to 5o years after the murder and for what reso

15 years* but no one knows who he was talking to in the story it could've been a priest but he doesn't sound like a guy that goes to church but my guess is that he's talking to a priest.
i believe that montresor kept that secret to himself for a long time and then when he felt safe/confident he revealed it.
