Related to both of the two verses that we have: "Can I see a falling tear, / And not feel my sorrows share?" we can say that the correct option is the second one: “It connects the stanzas and shows how the speaker feels about reaching out to those who grieve” because the meaning of the words TEAR and SORROWS and how they share meanings related to an emotional state. Thus, it is important to the authors to express how they feel and how sometimes it is hard to not find comfort and help in relatives.

The third option is not applicable due to, according to the meanings that we have already said, the author cannot be feeling powerful, on the contrary, the mood of the verses is more related to sadness and powerless. The fourth option is also not correct due to it express the contrary feelings that the excerpt expresses. the difference between an explicit and implicit meaning is that the explicit meaning of a poem is that the detail is exactly defined. nothing is left to interpretation. an implicit meaning is an implied meaning. kabir's poetry is both explicit and implicit in that it can be interpreted on different levels. the explicit meaning leaves nothing to interpretation while the implicit meaning leaves lots open to interpretation. an example of this is found in the poem "rumi and the spiritual lover".
