The character vs. others conflict takes place when Kim and Latoya argue about who is at fault for being lost. In a character vs. others conflict, the character is against another character.

The character vs. nature conflict takes place when the rain starts to drive them crazy. When the rain begins, Kim "couldn't stand it anymore."
