Macbeth is all too aware that he has crossed the line and can never return to his former life. He is now devoid of all honor and scruples, and has to go on with his life, doing what needs to be done - that is, getting rid of Duncan's successors as well. The two of them, however, feel that something isn't right, and however killed their father must be going after them too. They don't know for sure it was Macbeth, but they are aware that their father's murderer is definitely someone in this building, who publicly professed great affection for him. Macbeth has shown sorrow in public; by referring to "showing an unfelt sorrow", Malcolm and Donalbain talk about all the people in the room (of whom everyone might be a suspect), but the reader can clearly see the relation. Also, Macbeth's words that "renown and grace is dead" correspond to Malcolm's remark about "the false man".
