Instead of leaving the atmosphere, the greenhouse gasses stay and create heat. People are starting to see the effects of climate change. Every year, Earth gets a little bit hotter. This does not always mean the weather is always warmer. It does mean that the climate is changing around the world. There is snow where there was not snow before. There is less rain in some places and more storms in others. This change affects the crops and animal life. As a result, animals must find new homes because their old habitats are no longer liveable. People can slow this down by using fewer chemicals and fuels in their lives.
