your lesson, and pick out five words you think are difficult to understand. Look up these words in
a dictionary and a thesaurus, and then create a glossary for students who are reading the text.
Every entry in your glossary needs to include three parts. First, it needs a definition of the literal
meaning of the word as it is used in context - in other words, its denotation. This definition may
not simply be copied out of the dictionary: it must be written in your own words.
