Explanation:

1.  Because Waverly is also the story's narrator, the reader's view of characters such as her mother is influenced. Based on her descriptions, Waverly perceived her mother as clueless and unable to understand her emotions and thoughts. Her mother, she said, was "without a trace of knowing."

Waverly's mother is a well-intentioned control freak, strict and impulsive, who wants to prepare her children for the big world. She manipulates her children into doing what she believes is best for them, while Waverly tries to give her the benefit of the doubt for her to have a light touch of reality.

2. When her mother hovers while Waverly is practicing is an example of an ally becoming an enemy. Why? Because instead of giving her daughter a space to focus to practice the chess better, her mother become an obstruction and distraction rather. Her mother gets surly when she does not get in her way. This miscommunication creates schism between the relationship of Waverly and her mother making Waverly aloof and confused of her identity. So instead of being an ally to her daughter, she becomes the enemy.

3. There were times when Waverly felt bad about how her mother was behaving. Her mother kept putting Waverly on display in public, even to people they did not know. I understand why Waverly would be upset when her mom did this, but she is a national chess champion, so she wants to show her off with pride. When Waverly said, "What's your point?" "It's not that, it's just so obvious. It's embarrassing," to say that "People can tell that they are related and there is no need to brag about it to everyone who looks at them.

4. When they try to talk to each other, they cannot understand each other because of cultural differences, a generation gap, and a painful tragic past that makes it hard for them to do so.

To not lose in games and earn the respect of other people, her mother taught her "the art of invisible strength." Whenever she has a problem, she finds it hard to talk about it, because she learned about this at the age of six. Yet, I cannot stand it any longer. let’s her emotions get the better of her

“Why do you have to use me to show off? If you want to show off, then why do not you learn to play chess" She thinks her mother exploited her by using her name to show off, which made her nervous and caused the backlash.

also this is a really easy journal entry, you can just think of a skill your good at and write did you work hard to become good at this skill (ex: drawing, writing, math, playing music, etc.) or does it come naturally (like a cool trick that you can do with your body). you can do all of that in 150 words. just try and think of a talent and even if your bad at this talent just say your working hard to become good at it.

i highly recommend james madison. the work is simple and if you stick to it you can graduate quickly. the work is simple and the teachers are very interactive. the flow of the school work is all on your time so it's not really a dead line. go on their website and look at pricing and enrollment plans. i know when i signed up i got a discount. you pay a certain amount of money every month. it's kind of expensive but i did it in 6 days tops with just my senior year left : )
