Ok so an important concept in chapters 1-4 in the giver book How do I make that into a drawing? Thanks to lindymorren on brainley for the response the concept is down below:

Individual v society…. In Jonas’s community, everything is the same. Individualism is discouraged. Jonas gets shunned when he is young for breaking rules.

Freedom v Choice. No one in Jonas’s community makes any personal choices, as the choices of society were made back when the Sameness was created. The people in the community don’t have the pleasure and despair of making their own choices (whether bad or good). The community sacrificed the freedom of choosing.

Thanks to lindymorren for that response
