How do Banquos lines about the stars recall an earlier statement of Macbeths?

Banquo's lines about the stars which is "It is past midnight, the moon has set, and the "candles" of heaven — the stars — cannot be seen." recall an earlier statement of Macbeth in Act 1 scene 4, "Stars hide your fires, let not light see my black and deep desires." It means that the night was too gloomy.
