Directions:
Choose one of the elements from assignment M4S3 Phase 1 as your topic to write your body paragraph. For example, you may choose to write about one of these: format/conventions, theme, or figurative language. You will use the information from your graphic organizer to write your compare and contrast body paragraph.
Write a paragraph comparing and contrasting the two poems, “Spring is like a perhaps hand” and “A Winter Eden,” using the element you chose. You must use one piece of textual evidence from each poem to support your ideas.
Double space your writing, indent your paragraph, and use 12 pt. font from one of the suggested fonts (Times New Roman, Arial, or Calibri).
