The killer clowns part two
One dark and stormy night, five years after the killer clowns came to call at Rosa’s house.
Rosa, now 15, was home alone, like every Thursday night. Then the lights started flickering, on, off, on, off. Then she heard the clown car. Rosa instantly knew it was the killer clowns, and they were back to get her. She got her pistol, loaded it, and stood her ground. A loud noise came from the front door, “Thud, Thud, Thud” it was getting louder and louder. The front door burst open, and clown flooded in. There were at least sixty clowns all carrying knives and covered in blood. Pennywise was their leader “well, well, well, if it isn’t Rosa, I have come back to avenge my cousin you killed five years ago. Any last words?” he said, with a malicious grin on his face. “yeah” Rosa said, “You are so ugly that when your mom dropped you off at school, she got a ticket for littering.” Pennywise gasped, “that’s it, instead of killing you right now, we will torture you to death. Grab her Bongo.” Bongo seized her around the shoulders, Rosa turned and shot the clown through the head. “What’s wrong Pennywise, too scared to come get me yourself?” Rosa said, laughing. What Rosa did not realize was that a clown snuck behind her and knocked her out. The clowns took her back to the circus, and tortured her, they cut off her arms, and fed them to a lion. After days of endless torture, Rosa died, there was nobody to stop the clowns as they took over the world.

"the children's hour" by henry wadsworth longfellow between the dark and the daylight, when the night is beginning to lower, comes a pause in the day's occupations, that is known as the children's hour. i hear in the chamber above me the patter of little feet, the sound of a door that is opened, and voices soft and sweet. from my study i see in the lamplight, descending the broad hall stair, grave alice, and laughing allegra, and edith with golden hair. a whisper, and then a silence: yet i know by their merry eyes they are plotting and planning together to take me by surprise. a sudden rush from the stairway, a sudden raid from the hall! by three doors left unguarded they enter my castle wall! they climb up into my turret o'er the arms and back of my chair; if i try to escape, they surround me; they seem to be everywhere. they almost devour me with kisses, their arms about me entwine, till i think of the bishop of bingen in his mouse-tower on the rhine! do you think, o blue-eyed banditti, because you have scaled the wall, such an old mustache as i am is not a match for you all! i have you fast in my fortress, and will not let you depart, but put you down into the dungeon in the round-tower of my heart. and there will i keep you forever, yes, forever and a day, till the walls shall crumble to ruin, and moulder in dust away! which literary device does longfellow use most frequently in the poem? a. simile b. metaphor c. repetition d. personification
