Help looking for good deals. All around were Ari’s baby toys. Ari’s old crib and stroller were there, along with stuffed animals and baby clothes. There were even some unopened boxes of diapers. Ari was so embarrassed! A man came to Ari holding Ari’s old tricycle. “My son will love this,” the man said, handing Ari ten dollars.

Ari felt sad. He was big now, but he still didn’t want to get rid of his tricycle. Still he took the man’s money and gave him his change.

A lady came to Ari after that. She had his old talking caterpillar. Ari felt sad again. He had loved that caterpillar. But he took the lady’s money and gave her change.

Ari slumped down in his chair and his pocket jingled. He realized that he had just made almost twenty dollars. Now he could buy that video game he wanted. This garage sale was a great idea!

What can you tell about Ari based on his actions in the story?
