PART ONE Objective summary: Write an objective report about one event you have read in The Landing of the Pilgrims so far. Style it like a newspaper article and include:

A title
The date the article was written
The name of the author (you can write from the perspective of a character from the book, a merchant back in England, a French journalist hearing the news for the first time, or something similar)
The location of the events
An objective report of the events
PART TWO

Subjective article: Write a subjective article about one event in The Landing of the Pilgrims. Remember to include personal opinions from either your perspective or the perspective of a Pilgrim or Native American.

Choose one event from the book to write about.
Write 4-6 paragraphs about this event, making sure to include subjective opinions. (Subjectivity is the quality of being based on emotion or personal experience rather than plan fact.)
You can write this from your perspective, or from the perspective of a Pilgrim writing home, or from the perspective of a Native American telling the story to a member of another tribe, etc. Be creative and use descriptive words as you narrate the story.
Your article should include a title, the name of the author, and be at least 4 paragraphs. It should incorporate subjective commentary, rather than just restating the events.
