Jellyfish are affecting fisheries own by fishermen by consuming the larvae and eggs of fish preventing the fisheries from selling anchovies. The mnemiopsis jellyfish are not only affecting fisheries but affecting different cities and people by clogging power plant systems and putting thousands of people without electricity.
