Yeah many people get confused about topic sentences and it’s totally fine. So the topic sentence should be the sentence that will basically explain what you’ll be writing in your essay. So this essay will be about LAYERS OF A RAINFOREST. You’ll have to find the best one for that topic. So 3 has nothing to do with rainforest layers, cross that out. 4 is talking only about 1 layer, cross that out. Now we’re left with 1 and 2 which both talks about every rainforest layer. I would go with 1 since it specifically included the rainforest layers, 2 would be talking about life in the layers.

Power allows people to take initiative and dish out duties for others to do and accomplish. it also can be used to create policies and rules people need to abide by. it basically just creates order.
