I laughed at my friend as the teacher handed him his paper. A D was nothing short of atrocious, "Even a fool could do better!"

I hollered at him, much to the ire of those around me. Tears welled up in my eyes and my stomach began to hurt I laughed so hard. I was going to follow up with more, but then the teacher came close. She pulled out my paper from the stack and slid it to me, face down. A triumphant grin came to my face as I flipped the paper over, ready to taunt him with my superior grade. Only, an F stared back at us. To which the teacher said slyly, "A fool could, but you can't?"
