What, for you, is an important moral truth in your culture?

Now, I believe this is more of a philosophical question, “Ethics are the set of moral principles that guide a person’s behavior. These morals are shaped by social norms, cultural practices, and religious influences. Ethics reflect beliefs about what is right, what is wrong, what is just, what is unjust, what is good, and what is bad in terms of human behavior.” I have a mix of Cuban and Puerto Rican culture at home. The “culture of Cuba is a complex mixture of different, often contradicting, factors and influences.” However, in my case I was taught to believe in only one God, not several Gods. The majority of people in Cuba serve San Lazaro, Black statues, Mary, among many other Gods and idols. Also, I was taught since birth to always be honest which is something Cubans are always attached to, they say absolutely everything. Of course, I am reserved when needed, but, I am honest at heart and reveal always what’s inside it depending on the circumstances. As for Puerto Rican’s they are very loving and welcoming individuals, good hosts. I am also a good host whenever people come to visit. I offer them to eat and drink, start in conversation, etc.
