Acts of discrimination committed by citizens of a particular on vistiors or immigrants is a way to describe xenophobia. It is similar or could be called a form of bigotry, as any act of discrimination on the basis of ethnic, religious, cultural or socula differences is condemnable. Sadly, these acts continue to persist at this very point in time when it could be seen that international relationship between countries are required to foster trade, peace and national development. Hence, it is a onus on not only the government but responsible citizens to act up and do what is required to abolish this mentality.

The government need to come up with both sensitization programmes while also laying down strict regulations and punishment against perpetrators of this dastard act. The citizen on its path need to show more dislike towards the action of their fellow citizens who indulge in this irresponsible acts. Rather Than support them or watch them without lending support, responsible citizens should also stand up against this behavior and challenge their fellow citizens to think and do the right thing.
