Ambition is an excessive quality and, as such, is apt to lead us to the most extraordinary results. If our ambition leads us to excel or seek to excel in that which is good, the currents we follow will be of great good. But if our ambition is stimulated by pride, envy, or vanity, we will confine our support principally to the counter currents of life. In this way, we will leave behind us misery and destruction.

The happiness promised by ambition dissolves in sorrow just as we are about to grasp it. It makes the same mistake concerning wealth. She begins by accumulating power as a means of happiness, but she finishes by continuing to accumulate it as an end.

the narrator is a first person, participant one, who describes in the simple past tense important and difficult events in his earlier life. he also provides temporal markers as the month (january) and the time (12: 30 pm). finally the account of his experience is very detailed, to the extent that a participant narrator would talk the same way about his experiences. a good example of such detail is the mention of the “bovril ration” which historically was a native american food adopted by european explorers in arctic and antarctic regions due to its high level of calories.

in the secret life of walter mitty, the main character leads a dull life, or so he thinks.in all his daydreams he plays the role of some hero or a man who is unbelievably resourceful.whether a pilot, a surgeon   or even a criminal, he is better, so much better than all the rest of the characters in his delusions.he comes up with ideas nobody else could have conceived .when he comes back to reality, whatever he has to deal with seems silly, boring without any motivation to deliver.

  one day samantha and her brother carson was walking in a path then samantha's brother carson almost stepped on something on the ground "carson, stop! " she shouted "huh, why? " samantha said as they all sat down, "goldy and i, came from a far away land called zelda 101," silvester said "we are partners looking to find two human partners and you two are the perfect type, we could all be a team in zelda 101 and many other places that need certant things." goldy said "would you be willing?
