Question- Cite Evidence that explains why some people thought working on farms might be good for children. the story:

Young girls were not exempt from such hard labor. During the
early 1900s, when many crops were still planted and harvested by
hand, children-both boys and girls--worked on farms in large
numbers. People who were opposed to children working in factories
often saw nothing wrong with them working on farms. After all, they
were working with their families and breathing in fresh air. Some children did help out on old-fashioned family farms. But many others
traveled from farm to farm as hired hands doing the same
backbreaking work as the adults.
A 1913 photograph shows three girls
and a boy, ranging in age from five to nine years, picking cotton in
the sweltering Texas heat. Some of these cotton pickers were orphans.
Others were the children of migrant workers. All of them picked
cotton from dawn until the sun set.
