Choose one myth you've studied this year. Compare and contrast it with a myth, legend, or folktale from another culture besides Greek and Roman. You can use any culture in the world. Here are some suggestions to get you started.
The myth of "Prometheus" is similar to the myth of Mātariśvan in India.
The myths of "Arachne" and "Prometheus" can be compared to Native American stories of Grandmother Spider.
"Deucalion & Pyrrha" is similar to the "Epic of Gilgamesh" from Sumeria or the story of Noah's Ark from the Bible.
Once you choose your two stories, a good way to begin is to write down five similarities and five differences between the two. I am trying to compare it with Noahs arc.
