How does J. M Barrie's approach to discussing themes of "growing up" differ from Shel Silverstein's approach to discussing themes of "growing up"? Use the novel Peter Pan by JM Barrie and Where the Sidewalk Ends by Shel Silverstein.

The answers must be at least three sentences and cite textual evidence.

This is my response: In chapter 2, of Peter Pan, J. M Barrie explicitly tells us the theme was growing up. He shows us this by facing the opinions of Wendy’ and Peter’s be told within them. In the poem “Where the Sidewalk Ends”, Shel Silverstein uses the sidewalk to represent life. In line 10, “we shall walk that is measured and slow” this tells us that we should enjoy our life which passes by time and that life is slow.
