Martin Luther King jr.. worked for what he believed in, because he knew that African Americans had the rights and shouldn’t be discriminated against. He believed that everyone should have the right , and through his hard work he created a nationwide movement that made his dream come true . Harriet Tubman is a perfect example of hard work and dedication in our day of society . When Harriet started as a slave , she was regularly beaten and violated. Her siblings were sold into slavery , yet she possessed the brevity within her to literally change her own world. She remained steadfast to her goals, until the two last slaves she saved were her own parent .By 1849 She had helped hundreds of slaves escape and have their freedom gain as a conductor.
