A instrument or a stringed instrument is popular around the world. They all use vibrating strings to produce music. However, the strings may be made of different materials such as gut, metal, fiber, or plastic. They also may be plucked, bowed, or struck. Although there are many string instruments native to the cultures and tribes around the world, there are five commonly types used in the orchestra. These are the violin, viola, cello, double, bass, and harp. The violin family of stringed instruments includes then violin, viola, cello, and sometimes the double bass. These are supported by a neck and a bout and are played using a bow. On the other hands, harps are instruments in which the strings are contained within a frame and are plucked. Each type of string instrument has its own unique sound and style. No two are the same.
