Adjective clauses  begin with words such as that, when, where, who, whom, whose, which, and why. an essential (or restrictive)  adjective clauseprovides information that is necessary for identifying the word it modifies. so for example*** wrong= i the man gave me direction. example right ( i the man who gave me the  direction.

At midnight thomas edison opened the door and continued his work, but to his surprise it was so late that he had to get some rest. but with his mind racing and his mind at sake he continued working. hours and hours went untill he got it. he had invented the worlds first lightbulb!
