Spinach is one of the world's most perfect foods. It is high in vitamin A and many other vitamins and minerals. It is a good source of iron and calcium. The body may not absorb these minerals from spinach very well , though. Spinach can be eaten fresh, steamed, canned, or frozen. It goes well in salads, sodus, casseroles, and just about everything What might take away from the idea that spinach is a perfect food? The body might not absorb the iron and calcium from spinach. Canned or frozen spinach won't taste as good as fresh spinach. Spinach should be higher in many other vitamins and minerals.​
