Adam came into the world happy and protected, whereas the monster entered the world confused and alone.

Explanation:

In the novel "Frankenstein" by Mary Shelley, the monster compares himself with Adam and fallen angel. After reading the three books that he found the box, he came to know the story of creation by God.

Monster thinks that just like God created Adam, Victor created him. And he should not be deprived of the joy without any reason. He says this to Victor when he asks him to create a female companion for him. So, since Victor is his creator, he should keep him happy and protected like God did to Adam.
