         Social Media: Children’s Access?

          Many children use social media, and find things that are not suitable for children, from obscenities to inappropriate jokes, there are many things out there that a child should not be seeing. Someone older than the age of 10 or 11 might be able to handle it, but most kids of younger ages most likely could not. Children under the age of 11 should be strictly prohibited to using social media websites, such as Facebook, Twitter, or Tumblr.

               Not only are there adult words and jokes on the internet, there are also people who fake their identity to hack other people’s accounts, and these people may fool the young children and destroy their social media accounts. There are also people that post things that say, for example, “Paste this on 5 other people’s pages and have good luck for life, or ignore and die tonight!” These things may scare the children into doing it, but they would most likely be scams that are riddled with computer viruses.

               On these media sites, there may also be videos and images with strong violence, gore, or blood that could make a child afraid to do something such as walk into a dark room or sleep at night, because of the series of events that may happen in the video or photo. The horror images should only be suitable for teenagers or adults, if they are suitable for anyone at all.

               Some social media sites, such as Facebook, have games in them. There are games that are pretty casual, such as Farm Heroes or Candy Crush, that are fit for anyone to play; but there are also games, such as Survival, that are too graphic, violent, or realistic for a young child. Playing any violent video games also may give your child a violent mind, and, for instance, pretend to kill someone with a fake or imaginary weapon.

               On social media, children may get cyber-bullied, which would lower your child’s self-esteem or make them feel uncool or sad, which nobody should have to feel. The internet can also make a child develop anxiety issues, and after using for a long time from a young age, it may become an addiction, and they might begin to think of it as a “necessity” in their life.

               There are also many surveys and links such as “Which superhero are you?” that might interest someone who doesn’t know better, and it could bring them to a page that is not what it said it was, it could have a virus in it, or even both. Some of these links are legit and really do work, but a large amount of the time, it is all on big scam.

               Social media is not something children should be using or playing with. It should be reserved for teenagers and adults, those who know they can handle anything that comes their way on the websites. The internet may be an amazing and fascinating place on the outside, but on the inside, you don’t know what may happen.

i believe the answer is: b. mr. head had a long, tube-like face with a rounded open jaw and a short depressed nose.

this is because in the un-revised sentence it said that mr. heads face was long and tube-like, and he had a rounded open jaw. this is not a very grammatically correct because of how it seems to drag on with the and, replaced with, with, makes it sound more fluent in the description.
