Hey. can i get someone's opinion on this. i'm thinking about submitting it for a school contest.

pineapple

pineapple thoughts will keep me awake
to the point where my head start to ache
i don't want to feel
or want to be real
is this is all life has in store for me
because if so that's a pity
my thoughts scare me to my core
myself i deeply abhor
for trying to hide and pretend
that i'm wishing for the end
because i'm too tired to carry on
when my minds already gone
i will lock myself away and avoid the light
for i will be a terrible sight
i'll crack mirrors with my presence
i'll disgust you with my essence
i'll be waging my personal battle
and bring a new meaning to pineapple
