What does this excerpt from act i of macbeth say about lady macbeth?

lady macbeth:
the raven himself is hoarse
that croaks the fatal entrance of duncan
under my battlements. come, you spirits
that tend on mortal thoughts, unsex me here;
and fill me, from the crown to the toe, top-full
of direst cruelty! make thick my blood,
stop up the access and passage to remorse,
that no compunctious visitings of nature
shake my fell purpose, nor keep peace between
the effect and it!

These words by Lady Macbeth are uttered after she discovers that Macbeth is  coming into the castle with Duncan. Lady Macbeth realizes that if Duncan is to be killed, he must be killed there. She then calls on supernatural spirits to make her strong and resolute. She wishes to be more like a man and less like a woman so that she feels no pity or compassion and therefore, does not get in the way of Macbeth killing Duncan.
