first of all, nelson mandela was well-known for his fight to destroy the apartheid. the apartheid was installed in 1948, its main idea was a separation but in reality it had more to do with segregation. black people were deprived from a lot of things. they had to go to different schools, buses and hospitals. that’s when nelson mandela protested against these inequalities along with many black men in south africa. mandela was then working for the national african council which him realize that all his efforts were not working. he then planned to bomb a few places were the apartheid was significant. that’s when he was sentenced to a custodial sentence. mandela‘s speeches and thoughts of the apartheid was mostly recognized by others, during his years in prison. mandela‘s voice and actions did not fail it held real power and the battle was eventually won. this is a great achievement because nelson mandela reconciled the blacks and whites during the post-apartheid.
