Franklin did his best to explain to the colonists the reasons why the Native Americans attacked the colonists and  killed them. The problem was that the colonists occupied the territories which belonged to those tribes and where they cultivated or searched resources for their survival and naturally the Natives felt immediately threatened and started to protect their lands and themselves from the foreign expansion.
