The tricky part of taking an examination
Revise own study skills, strategies, styles, time management and examination
writing skills.
Writing an examination is not always as easy as people portray it to be. There is a
lot that goes into taking an examination. The fact that you know your content does
not necessarily guarantee you success in an examination. Most students fail not
because they don't understand the content, but precisely due to their inability to
successfully answer questions in an examination. The skill of answering questions in
an examination is as important as studying for it
Some students fail because they could not manage their time and the stress that
come with taking an exam. So, it is not merely about answering questions in an
examination that is needed. One has to develop needed skills and strategies to
effectively take an examination.
