Moles are rodents that are very similar to mice. They live underground, spending most of their lives below the earth's
surface, in the dark. Mice, on the other hand, may dig burrows to nest and sleep in, but they spend much of their time above
ground. Mice also may build nests out of found materials, like cloth or grass. This difference in habitat has helped moles
develop differently than mice.
Select the adaptation we would expect to see in moles, but not in mice?
A)
Moles have very large eyes.
B)
Moles have highly sensitive ears.
C)
Moles have larger paws for digging.
D)
Moles can swim for very long distances.
