I need a paragraph about langston hughes' "the negro speaks of the river"

“The Negro Speaks of Rivers” was written in 1920, one of the crucial poems of the literary movement, The Harlem Renaissance. “The Negro Speaks of Rivers” delineates African American history from the dawn of human civilization to the present day,  circumscribing both triumphs such as the construction of the Egyptian pyramids or the construction of the Tower of Babel and terrors of slavery. The poem disputes that the Black soul has assimilated all of its historical experience, and in the process has become quite deep. I would like to say that in a way this poem relates to nature because in my eyes I say that humans are a part of nature. Out of the 4 poems I read, I would say this one, “The Negro Speaks of Rivers” resonated with me the most because it is about Black excellence, perseverance, and cultural identity.
